Lingnan Garden is one of the iconic Service-Learning programmes in Lingnan University since the year 2014. With the joint-efforts of faculty, staff and students, we have developed an organic vegetable garden and orchard on campus, which grow over 100 varieties of vegetables, grains, and fruits. By putting farming into the undergraduate courses in Cultural Studies Department, students are able to redefine what the act of farming means to them. The projects also showcase Lingnan’s efforts towards a transition campus, building local resilience to global warming and food insecurity.
