Pitching Skills Workshop 

The OSL has invited Mr. Felix Wong, Community Manager of Greater China at Techstars, to provide training on how to do a successful and impressive presentation in front of potential investors, judges, funding providers and other parties who are interested in your business. Join this Pitching Skills Workshop to learn the tips of producing an engaging pitch and help you to grow in confidence!

IE Exploration Week

Innovation and Entrepreneurship Exploration Series 

The I&E Exploration Series aims to enhance students' knowledge in social innovation and get them inspired through learning new techniques and design thinking methodology.


#1 Innovation Challenge
Students can experience design thinking and learn about the coming I&E activities in this workshop. They will also get a chance to share their ideas on making an innovative campus collaboratively.

#2 The Beauty of LU Campus: 3D Modelling Workshop
Students can learn to draw 3D model of the buildings in LU campus with the software SketchUp. After refining their 3D design-work, students will be able to output their 3D models for the guided tours in Lingnan and have an artwork showcase in the Art Gallery.

#3 Social Innovation x STEM Weekend
This 2-day activity will provide a chance for participants to understand the needs of sub-divided flats households and elderly poverty issue. Students will learn more about social innovation and apply design thinking skills to develop STEM solution with elderly participants. They will also get a chance to visit and make prototypes in a makerspace called Innospot.

Creating Mobile App Without Coding: Mobile App Building Workshop 

Students can learn how to design, build and polish a cloud-connected iOS and Android mobile app from scratch without any coding. The primary goal of the workshop is to strengthen students' capacity in promoting their innovative projects through digital channel

Codeathon2017

Code for Impact at CGI U 2017

CGI U and the Clinton Foundation will host a two-day Code for Impact event in advance of CGI U 2017, which will be at Northeastern University from October 13-15, 2017. 

The Codeathon, taking place October 12-13, 2017, will bring together student designers from across sectors and disciplines to generate innovative applications, prototypes, and platforms that will make an impact within CGI U’s five focus areas: Education, Environment and Climate Change, Peace and Human Rights, Poverty Alleviation, and Public Health.
