MIDE Programme, Pan Sutong Shanghai-Hong Kong Economic Policy Research Institute and China Economic Research Programme co-organized“Walk in the Greater Bay Area and seeking new opportunities” Study Tour: Guangzhou and Nansha.





At the first stop, Deputy Director of PESI and CERP, Executive Director of MIDE, Dr. Chow Man-kong, visited Nansha Peral Bay Development Exhibition Center with students. The design and construction of Pearl Bay combined modern urban construction and tradition Lingnan culture, which indicates the modernization and internationalization of Pearl Bay in the future.





Students also visited Cloudwalk and iFlytek’s office in Nansha, which are two leaders of Artificial Intelligence companies in China and the world. Cloudwak is the professional in facial recognition, and iFlytek is good at voice recognition.





At the last stop, students visited the Young Entrepreneur Incubation Centre and had conversations with local officials in charge of talent development and finance.
