Padmore received his PhD from the Department of Sociology and Social Policy, Lingnan University, Hong Kong. He also holds an MPhil. in Development Studies from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. His research interest is interdisciplinary, primarily focusing on social epidemiology and health aspects of social policy. His research focuses on different population groups, including children, youth, older persons, and migrants. He received one of Lingnan University’s Young Researcher Output Awards in 2021. Padmore is currently an Associate Editor of the Journal of Asian Public Policy.
