To be eligible for entry into this programme, candidates should have:
1. applicants should have a bachelor’s degree awarded by a tertiary education institution recognised for this purpose by the University (applicants with a non-psychology first degree have to complete a pre-entry course); or equivalent qualifications and experience, which will be considered on a case-by-case basis; and
2. An applicant whose degree or, exceptionally, an alternative qualification deemed equivalent is not from a tertiary institution in Hong Kong or an English-speaking country should obtain a minimum score of 550 (paper-based test) or 79 (internet-based test) in the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), a band score of 6.5 or above in the International English Language Testing System (IELTS), or an equivalent score in a recognised test, or an equivalent qualification to prove his/her language proficiency which will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
3. Interviews may be conducted when needed. And applicants are required to fulfill additional requirements, if any, set by the programme.

The system is now opening. The deadline are 30 June for Sept intake and 30 October for Jan intake.(You are advised to hand in the application as soon as possible, especially for those applicants who need a VISA and/or need to attend Pre-entry Course.) If there is any tuition fee changed and/or admission requirements changed, you have to comply with the university and the programme regulations.

If you miss the application deadline, your application will be considered as the application for the next intake. We usually have two intakes per year, September and January.

The applications would be considered periodically before application deadline.
