It has been my honor to be a part of the Department of Applied Psychology at Lingnan University for the past 4 years. Their prestigious education developed my mental, physical, emotional, spiritual and intellectual health, which well-prepared me for my future career. With the close staff-student relationships, the professors and teachers ensure that every student is gaining the most out of the education provided. Besides, there are numerous local/international internships, exchange semesters and other cultural exchange experiences provided by the Department and the University. Through taking part in these opportunities, I have developed strong critical thinking and leadership skills. The Department also provides guidance to all students to help them succeed throughout the University and future life. I am now starting my Graduate studies in Canada, and I am honored to have received my Psychology degree from Lingnan University.

The four-years study in the Social Sciences Programme has been an amazing journey I have had. Intellectual development is highly stimulated by the motivating learning environment and the interaction between teaching staff and students. Lingnan University also provides a wide range of opportunities in supporting their students to explore and develop their skills and talents apart from academics, including global exchange programmes, internships and scholarships. The diverse learning experiences at Lingnan have definitely encouraged me to further explore my research interest and career path in clinical neuropsychology; which have led me to my postgraduate research studies in Psychiatry and Brain Sciences at UCL and my current Clinical Psychology education at HKU. I would not be able to maximize my potentials and achieve so much without this undergraduate journey at Lingnan.

Despite a long time after graduation, Lingnan University is still my home, where I’ve grown as a better person. To become a clinical psychologist has long been my dream, and I would not be able to achieve it without Lingnan University. Thanks to the supportive and helpful professors, staff and schoolmates, an intellectually stimulating environment, as well as plenty of scholarship opportunities, my four years of undergraduate studies was utterly amazing. I could not be more grateful.
