The QS World University Rankings by Subject is a globally recognized league table for higher education. It is an independent comparative analysis of the performance of 15,700 individual programmes offered by over 1,590 universities worldwide. The rankings are based on five components, namely academic reputation, employer reputation, research citations per paper, H-index (measuring both the productivity and impact of the published work of a scientist or scholar) and international research network (by broad-faculty area).

The Ranking of Best Business and Management Universities in China methodology conducted by Research.com is based on data collected from various bibliometric sources on 21 December 2022. The position in the ranking is based on the sum of D-index values of all leading scientists affiliated with that university. D-index includes papers and citation values for an examined discipline. A leading scientist is a scholar with a D-index of at least 30 in an examined discipline.
