LU Professor engages in a dialogue with global higher education leaders from the World Bank and Boston College

 

Professor Joshua Ka-ho Mok, Vice-President of Lingnan University and Director of the Asia Pacific Higher Education Research Partnership, joined a digital forum organised by the world-renowned Centre for International Higher Education of Boston College which analysed the massification of higher education from comparative and international perspectives.  Dr Jamil Salmi, expert on global tertiary education and the World Bank’s former tertiary education coordinator, and Dr Rebecca Schendel from Boston College, were among the participants.

 

Professor Mok and his research team at Lingnan University focuses on the development, policy and governance issues related to higher education, with a special interest in comparative and international research. Prof Mok’s team partners with top institutions from all around the world, including Peking University and Tsinghua University on mainland China, as well as the University of Oxford, the University of Cambridge, Durham University and the University of Bath in the UK, to conduct regional and international research and organise teaching and learning activities for students.
