Lingnan University collaborates with industry on smart GeoAI solutions for mosquito-borne diseases

Lingnan University has signed an agreement with Triple Faith Engineering & Supply Limited for a collaborative project using smart GeoAI solutions to predict and tackle mosquito-borne diseases. 

Led by Prof Paulina Wong of the Science Unit, the project is supported by a $3.3 million fund from the Partnership Research Programme of the HKSAR Government’s Innovation and Technology Fund (ITF) and Triple Faith as the industry partner.

The project is yet another exemplary case of cooperation between the Government and the industry, academia and research sectors (官產學研合作) conducted by Lingnan University, and their second project with Triple Faith conducted for the benefit and well-being of the community.
