In this seminar, Prof. Sophia Law will focus on these aspects of her recent project:

  • Intrinsic nature of art – an interdisciplinary theoretical framework.
  • From theory to implementation - a community-based research.
  • Meaning, difficulties and impact of the research.


Biography of Speaker

Prof. Sophia Law is an art historian with years of nursing experience.

Her research interests include art and trauma, vision and memory, art and well-being, as well as art facilitation. In the last few years, she has conducted series of research projects on art as an intervention for child victims of family violence.
