In line of the strategic direction of the University to reach out to the mainland and the international community for providing professional training, Division of Graduate Studies and the Inter-University Research Platform for Higher Education organized a professional training programme for a group of high school teachers and managers from City College, Shenzhen from 28 to 29 March 2017. Professor Ka Ho Mok, Lam Man Tsan Chair Professor of Comparative Policy, Dr Li Dong-hui, Associate Vice President (Student Affairs), Professor Oi Ling Siu, Professor and Head of Department of Applied Psychology, Dr Albert Ko, Associate Director of Office of Service Learning, as well as Mr Titan Ngan, Life Outstanding Teacher Award Winner shared with the delegates the experiences of Lingnan University’s liberal arts education not only from the curriculum design but also from the holistic approach in promoting whole-person development. During the visit, Ms Cherry Zhang, Director, Division of International Collaboration, Shenzhen City College, further discussed with Professor Ka Ho Mok, Vice President to deepen the collaboration of professional training and taught master programmes offered by Lingnan University for teachers and principals from Shenzhen.
