Cross-regional seminar for professional exchanges: The Case-based Sharing of Gerontech Services

 

The Jockey Club Gerontechnology and Smart Ageing in Place Project team organised a seminar, namely “Cross-regional learning series: The Case-based Sharing of Gerontech Services”, which was completed on 29 December 2022. The team invited speakers from Singapore and Hong Kong, to share their latest development in Gerontechnology amid the pandemic. Professor Ada WONG, Associate Professor from Singapore University of Social Sciences and Mr. Adrian TAN, CEO of SG Assist from Singapore shared different services for local communities. Ms Maggie WONG and Dr. LAW, from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, introduced a self-health management application to the participants. The discussion session also allowed the participants to explore possibilities for optimising regional elder care services.
