Lingnan University ranks 2nd in the world for Quality Education

Lingnan University has been ranked Second in the world in the Quality Education category in the Times Higher Education (THE) University Impact Rankings 2020.

The Quality Education category assesses a university’s contribution to early years and lifelong learning, its pedagogy research, and its commitment to inclusive education.

The ranking highlights the success of Lingnan’s Liberal Arts education in preparing students for successful careers and leadership roles, and its effectiveness in teaching them how to become caring and productive members of society.

The postgraduate education provided by Lingnan’s School of Graduate Studies (SGS) goes above and beyond providing vocational skills. The Liberal Arts education at Lingnan results in “excellence with a soul.”

The Quality Education category is part of the THE’s Global Impact Rankings, which assess a university’s performance in relation to the sustainable development goals provided by the United Nations.

Lingnan’s focus on Liberal Arts helps postgraduate students identify their goals and acquire the transferable skills they need to succeed in their careers. The University’s postgraduate programmes are interdisciplinary and allow students to acquire a broad-based knowledge while specialising in a particular field.
