Professional Training for School of Public Administration, South China University of Technology

 

The Division of Graduate Studies offers a Professional Training Programme for faculty members from School of Public Administration, South China University of Technology (SCUT), one of the 985 universities in Guangdong and also a strategic partner of Lingnan University. The Training programme starts from 15 to 20 July 2018. A group of 23 delegates from SCUT came to visit Lingnan University on 16 July and Professor Joshua Mok gave a welcoming remark, followed by a talk on “New Opportunities for Big Bay Area Development: Challenges and Possibilities for Hong Kong in the International Education Context”.

 

Speakers from Lingnan University and other university, as well as our Hong Kong Foundation and Legislative Council of HKSAR Government introduce to the delegates not only issues related to university research and academic development but also policy and politics in Hong Kong. The Professional Training Programme is part of the strategic reaching out to the wider society of Lingnan University through knowledge transfer related activities. The visit also provides a great opportunity for colleagues from both universities to engage in conversations about more collaboration in future.
