Professor Joshua Mok, Vice-President of Lingnan University, was invited to give a keynote speech at the International Conference on Education, co-organized by the Faculty of Education, University of Malaya, Malaysia and the Graduate Institute of Education, National Chung Cheng University, Taiwan on 21 November 2018. His speech discussed the ways Hong Kong citizens perceive the various development opportunities in the Greater Bay Area of southern China, as well as examined how Hong Kong and Macau students' graduate employment has changed after studying at universities in the Chinese mainland. The event was well attended with over 70 presenters and 130 plus participants from various Southeast Asian countries. The conference has also strengthened the ties between Lingnan University and the University of Malaya, the top-ranked university in Malaysia.
