Message from the Programme Director

Welcome! It is my great pleasure to introduce our transformative Master of Science in Smart Ageing and Gerontology (SAG) programme to you. The programme provides a platform for motivated individuals to develop career-driven knowledge and research skills in the areas of gerontology and the role of modern technology and promoting active ageing.

The programme is highly interdisciplinary with courses drawn from fields of nursing and health sciences, social sciences and information and telecommunication technologies. Students will take courses such as smart ageing, positive gerontology, healthcare data analytics, human genomics,  frailty study, and resilience building. SAG offers a flexible mode of study. Our team will be happy to discuss your study plans.

Students graduating from the SAG programme will receive two certificates: One from LU and the other from HKMU.
