Biography

Tauchid Komara Yuda is PhD fellow at Lingnan University. He holds a tenured-track lecturer at the Department of Social Development and Welfare, Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia, where he also serves as an associate editor for the newly established Journal of Social Development Studies as well as the Journal of Social and Political Sciences (Scopus, Q3). Prior, he completed his Master's in Development Studies (2020) at Korea Development Institute School and received a Bachelor of Social Science (Hons) at the Universitas Gadjah Mada (2018).

Yuda's research interests centre on policy process areas, including politics and policies of welfare state changes, historical institutionalism, general social policy, and policy policy difussion. Yuda has published extensively in these areas, contributing articles to leading international journals and publishing houses, including Political Studies Review, Social Policy & Administration, Social Policy & Society, International Journal of Social Welfare, International Social Work, Journal of International and Comparative Social Policy, Journal of Asian Public Policy, Public Administration & Development and others, along with a wide range of popular writings on Indonesian social policy.

In addition, Yuda is co-founder of Cipta Wangsadinata Ltd, a policy consulting firm connecting the government-community-private sector in Yogyakarta, and is one of leaders of the Indonesian Council of Youth Development.
