Dragon Boat Team

The Team was established in 1996 at promoting the traditional Chinese cultural activities.  New members will be selected among students after the commencement of each academic years.  Team training will be provided to all members in Tuen Mun and Shing Mun River, Shatin.  Men, women and mixed team of dragon boat team would be formed to participated in various races in Hong Kong and other regions such as the Hong Kong International Dragon Boat Races and Macau International Dragon Boat Races.

Lion Dance Team

The Team aims at promoting the traditional Lion Dance activities. New members will be selected among students after the commencement of each academic year. Regular training will be provided to all team members. The team has participated in various activities which were held in the University as well as in the Tuen Mun District.

Lion Dance Team

The Chinese Debate Team and the Putonghua Debate Team provide opportunities for students to strengthen their critical thinking and presentation skills and at the same time promotes an atmosphere of discussion among students on campus. New members are recruited every year at the beginning of the academic year. Training and drilling will be provided throughout the whole year. Teams will also represent the University in various inter-collegiate competitions both locally and overseas.

University Choir

The Lingnan University Choir was founded in 1994 by a group of students with an interest in music. The University Choir aims at promoting the art of choral singing and providing university students with vocal trainings. The Choir members come from various academic departments, including exchange students from overseas. The repertoire of the Choir includes both Chinese and Western choral works from different periods. The Choir often gives performances on campus and participates in concerts outside the campus as guest performers.
