Description:
The effectiveness of the teaching role of university faculty/staff is largely influenced by how they conceptualise and implement aspects of student learning within the liberal arts environment at Lingnan. This two-hour workshop is designed to enhance the knowledge needed for liberal arts education so that participants may better understand their role within this environment and Global Liberal Arts Alliance respectively.
Aims:
- Relate the organisational context and the student centred-approach to whole person development at a liberal arts university
- Describe the characteristics of Global Liberal Arts Alliance
- Compare Lingnan University’s learning environment such as mission, aims, values, teaching models and graduate qualities with other universities
