The first session of “LU Roundtable for Learning & Networking” was successfully held on 9 February 2023. We will continue to organize this event for you to connect with alumni and professionals in your field of interest. In each session, a specific sector will be focused and professionals in that sector will be invited to share their career stories and valuable insights with participants, followed by a dinner for networking.
In March, we will focus on the Fintech sector and are excited to have two professionals - Mr William Ip, Vice President & Head of Digital Commerce, APAC, Fiserv, and Prof Eric Lam, Programme Director, Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) in Global Digital Economy and Governance Programme, Lingnan University, to be our guest speakers. Whether you are young alumni pursuing successful career development in the Fintech industry, or experienced executives aiming for professional advancement, this event is perfect for you!

With over 15 years in senior leadership positions in large enterprises, including Fiserv, Carousell and PayPal, William has led his teams to provide innovative solutions to meet the needs of different clients. William's extensive experience has allowed him to develop a deep understanding of the Fintech industry's opportunities and challenges. |
About Prof Eric Lam

Prof. Lam was a successful serial entrepreneur and experienced business executive with 20 more years in business start-ups, corporate consultancy, innovation and strategic management. His extensive business exposures and international connections were developed through working in global enterprises like IBM and NEC in Canada, US, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Mainland China. |
