Are you looking forward to our upcoming roundtable event? "Lingnan Roundtable for Learning & Networking" provides a valuable opportunity for you to connect with alumni and professionals in your field of interest. In each session, we focus on a specific sector, inviting professionals from that sector to share their career stories and valuable insights with participants. Following the session, there will be a special afternoon tea where you can network and build connections. After the successful seventh session held on 21 October 2023, we are thrilled to announce the upcoming roundtable event!

In November, the eighth roundtable, we will focus on "Sustainable Living", featuring our guest speaker Ms YIM Wai Ying, Eno, co-founder of School of Everyday Life and a special vegan afternoon tea. Ms Yim will introduce the concept of Sustainable Living, share feasible sustainability initiatives and lead a nature-themed workshop. By telling the history of School of Everyday Life, she will also share her experiecne working in NGO as well as expertise in cultural and natural education.

Whether you are looking for inspiration about living sustainably, or simply long for immersing yourself in nature, this event will be a perfect opportunity for you to slow down the pace of life, open up your body and mind, and rethink the philosophy of Sustainable Living.

About Ms YIM Wai Ying, Eno

Ms Eno Yim Graduated from the Department of Fine Arts of Chinese University of HK and completed a Master Degree in Imagery Studies at the University of Kent at Canterbury, UK. She entered the HK Museum of Arts and Heritage Museum as assistant curator after her study. Later on she joined the Centre for Cultural Policy Research, HKU and participated in several research projects including “Consultancy Report of Revitalization of Hong Kong Film Industry”, “HK Public Art Research”, “Baseline Study on HK’s Creative Industries”, etc. In 2004, she joined HK Institute of Contemporary Culture to help found the HKICC Lee Shau Kee of School of Creativity (HKSC) and initiate programmes and projects that aimed at promoting local arts, culture and creative education. She left HKSC in 2014 and co-founded the School of Everyday Life with friends to further explore alternatives and possibilities in life and values-based education.

嚴惠英女士畢業於香港中文大學藝術系及英國University of Kent 圖像研究碩士課程,曾任職於香港藝術館及香港文化博物館,後加入香港大學文化政策研究所,參與有關本地文化政策及創意產業的研究,其中包括:《香港振興香港電影業發展諮詢文件》、《公共藝術研究》、《香港創意產業基線研究》等。於2004年加入香港當代文化中心,協助籌辦香港兆基創意書院及相關教育項目,推展藝術文化及創意教育。後於香港兆基創意書院任助理校長(創意藝術),負責策劃校內外的文化藝術項目及課程。2014年起與朋友共同創辦生活書院,開拓本地生命和價值教育的另類可能。
