As our closing programme, The Way We Keep Dancing illustrates the struggles of local artists. The movie continues its predecessor’s discussion on Hong Kong’s street culture, and explores deeper into how local young artists struggle to survive with high rents and less space. The Kowloon Industrial District is an important base to many Hong Kong’s young creators because of its lower rent in the area. The youth called themselves KIDA (Kowloon Industrial District Artists), which many of them have contributed to the production of the popular street dance movie The Way We Dance. However, under the developer’s commercial strategy, the Kowloon Industrial District is turning into a business area, accompanied with rising rents and increased government inspections, creating more burdens on the KIDA’s careers. One day, an "Enhanced Street Culture Development Scheme” has been announced, while some think it’s an opportunity to promote KIDA, some believe it’s just sugar-coated poison. How would these KIDA choose between their dreams and the reality?

Guests: Mr. Adam Wong (Film Director of The Way We Keep Dancing) and some Casts from the movie
