胡偉星教授在美國約翰霍普金斯大學取得國際關係碩士學位,並在馬里蘭大學取得政治學博士學位。胡教授在美國和香港長期從事研究和教學工作曾擔任哈佛大學John M. Olin研究員、加州大學聖達戈分校IGCC博士後研究員美國首都華盛頓布魯金斯學會CNAPS訪問學者教授曾在多所美國和香港的大學任教其中包括美國加州大學聖達戈分校蒙特雷國際研究學院、底特律大學佐治亞大學和香港大學

范婉兒女士
香港貿易發展局研究總監

 
范婉兒女士於20221月接任為香港貿易發展局研究總監,帶領該局的研究團隊進行各類調研工作,分析影響全球貿易及經濟環境的主要趨勢,為香港公司在內地和環球市場尋找商機。范女士具逾25年的研究經驗,廣泛涉獵內地、亞太地區和國際市場。在加入香港貿發局前,她曾任職金融服務機構和銀行高層,包括總部設於蘇黎世的瑞士再保險有限公司的保險市場分析主管,以及恒生銀行高級經濟師。她曾任香港貿發局經濟師,主理有關服務業的研究。范女士畢業於香港大學,獲頒經濟學碩士學位。

林大偉教
日本創價大學商學院副教授

 
林大偉教授是日本創價大學 (SUJ) 的商學教授,教授管理領域和商業學科,同時與新加坡其他大學開展研究工作。他分析了工業4.0影響全球經濟/商業的主要趨勢,並利用區域研究從多學科的角度審視大灣區(GBA)的工業4.0發展,包括香港在內地和大灣區市場的角色。林教授擁有近15年的全職教學經驗,甚至更長的學術研究經驗約近20年,覆蓋了廣泛的東北亞、亞太、東南亞和國際市場。在加入日本創價大學之前,他曾在美國、香港和新加坡擔任教職。他在紐約康奈爾大學獲得博士學位,獲得東亞研究/歷史碩士學位

The construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area is a major development strategy under the country’s reform and opening up in the new era. Under the continuing impact of the COVID 19 pandemic, the world and local economies are facing unprecedented challenges. The China Economic Research Programme and the Pan Sutong Shanghai-Hong Kong Economic Policy Research Institute of Lingnan University, jointly with the Centre for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Studies, University of Macau, will invite eminent scholars and experts from international, mainland and Hong Kong to share their latest findings and views on the current economic situation and policies in this “Exploring New Opportunities in the Greater Bay Area 2022” Talk Series.

Professor Hu Weixing

Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Macau
 
Professor Hu Weixing obtained a master’s degree in international relations from Johns Hopkins University and a doctorate degree in political science from the University of Maryland. Professor Hu has been engaged in research and teaching in the United States and Hong Kong for a long time. He has served as a John M. Olin researcher at Harvard University, a postdoctoral researcher at IGCC at the University of California, San Diego, and a visiting scholar at CNAPS at the Brookings Institution in Washington in the United States. Professor Hu has taught at a number of universities in the United States and Hong Kong, including the University of California, San Diego, Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey, the University of Detroit, the University of Georgia and the University of Hong Kong.

Ms. Irina Fan

Director of Research, Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC)
 
Ms. Irina Fan joined the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) as the Director of Research in January 2022, leading the Council's Research Department to conduct a wide range of surveys, research studies, and analysis on key trends that affect the global trade and economic environment and identifying business opportunities for Hong Kong companies in the Mainland China and international markets. Irina has over 25 years of research experience with extensive exposure to Mainland China, the Asia Pacific region and international markets. Prior to joining HKTDC, she held senior positions in the financial services and banking sector, including Head of Insurance Market Analysis at Swiss Re based in Zurich and Senior Economist at Hang Seng Bank. She started her career as an HKTDC economist, overseeing services-related research projects. Irina graduated from the University of Hong Kong with a Master of Economics degree.

Professor Lim Tai Wei

Associate Professor, Faculty of Faculty of Business, Soka University, Japan

 
Professor Lim Tai Wei is an Associate Professor of Business at Soka University of Japan (SUJ), teaching subjects in the management field and business while conducting research work as well with other universities in Singapore. He analyzed the major trends of Industry 4.0 affecting the global economy/business and utilized Area Studies to look at Industry 4.0 development in the Greater Bay Area (GBA) through a multidisciplinary lens, including the role of Hong Kong in the Mainland and GBA markets. Professor Lim has almost 15 years of full-time teaching experience and even longer academic research experience of approximately almost two decades, covering a wide range of Northeast Asia, Asia-Pacific, Southeast Asian and international markets. Before joining SUJ, he held teaching positions in the US, Hong Kong and Singapore. He received his PhD from Cornell University of New York with a master’s degree in East Asian Studies/History.
