ABOUT THE WORKSHOP:
In this workshop we revisit student-centred teaching and the implementation of OBATL by aligning teaching/learning activities and assessment tasks to the intended learning outcomes. In the course of that, we will expand on particular issues that are relevant to the current Hong Kong Higher Education context. These issues include:
-       how to write and assess abstract outcomes, such as in the Arts
-       ideas on how to get students more active in classes and lectures
-       ways to assess final year Program Learning Outcomes
-       innovative examples of successful OBATL implementation
The workshop will finish with a half-hour Question and Answer session. Both teachers and administrators are welcome. Teachers are asked to bring documents relating to a programme and a course that they are involved in teaching for hands-on reflective activities during the workshop.

ABOUT FREE WALK-IN SESSION:
Anyone who is interested is welcome to stay after the lunch and listen to staff and students from Lingnan University sharing on their experiences with the Student Consultant Program.
This program gives students a voice in teacher development. For more information, please read more about it at the Centre's January newsletter, at: http://tlc.ln.edu.hk/caobe/newsletters/1-january-2015-student-consultant-program
