Over the last few months in support of teaching and learning across the University we have conducted 21 staff workshops as part of our INNOVATIVE PEDAGOGY SERIES. PILOT of the iPORTFOLIO A key area of development is the enhancement and rebranding of the ePortfolio system as the University’s iPortfolio system (currently in trial with the Graduate School). The iPortfolio will provide a customised personal learning environment for students that connects to and complements the Learning Management System (LMS) and offers them a way to map and record their personal journey via portfolio artefacts and learning and career planning resources. TLC has been tasked to take on a more strategic HIGHLIGHTS OF THE 2019 - 20 FIRST YEAR and FINAL YEAR STUDENT LEARNING EXPERIENCE SURVEY The First and Final Year Student Learning Experience Surveys focus on students’ learning experiences and self-evaluation of their achievement of the intended learning outcomes, especially the Graduate Attributes.Of note was that the ratings given by the final year students on their achievement of Graduate Attributes are higher than those from the first year students except for a few items.The top three items rated by final year students are Exchange Experience (Outside Hong Kong) (4.36 to 4.42), Adaptability (4.02 to 4.14) and Intercultural Views (4.00 to 4.09), while the lowest three items rated by them are Curriculum Cohesion (3.51 to 3.43), Chinese Language (3.39 to 3.28) and Workload (3.46 to 3.05).
