Terms of reference Membership
  • To take charge of the programme including programme design, and the implementation and review of the curriculum
  • Chairperson: Prof. Yu-Chieh Li (Programme Director or Deputy Programme Director) Members:
  • To review and carry out the admissions policy for the MACAH programme
  • Prof. Selina Chui Fun Ho (Head of the Department of Visual Studies)
    To liaise with the Registry/School of Graduate Studies on all academic matters including review of academic regulations and confirmation of course assessment results Prof. Fong Fong Chen and Prof. Michelle Ying Ling Huang (Two teaching members of the programme)
  • To make sure that the intended student learning outcomes will be achieved
  • Ms Chan Tsz Kwan and Ms Ng Man Yi (Full time and Part time student representatives)
  • To report to the Board of the Department of Visual Studies on the progress, review and development of the MACAH programme
  • Secretary: Mr Chi Long Chan (A member of staff appointed by the Chairperson)

  • To promote understanding between students and teaching staff
  • Chairperson: Prof. Yu-Chieh Li (Programme Director or Deputy Programme Director) Members:
  • To consider feedback from students regarding teaching, learning, course evaluation and issues of importance for enhancing teaching and learning quality
  • Prof. Selina Chui Fun Ho (Head of the Department of Visual Studies)
  • To assess the progress of students and to report its decisions to the PSC
  • Prof. Fong Fong Chen and Prof. Michelle Ying Ling Huang (Two teaching members of the programme
  • To review and monitor the learning and teaching quality assurance mechanisms and processes within the programme
  • Ms Chan Tsz Kwan and Ms Ng Man Yi (Full time and Part time student representatives)
  • To provide feedback to students on changes made to courses and teaching in response to various channels of course evaluation
  • Secretary: Mr Chi Long Chan (A member of staff appointed by the Chairperson)
  • To formulate strategies in helping students to learn more effectively
  • To consider any other matters of concern to students

    Terms of reference Membership
  • To maintain the academic standard of the programme
  • Chairperson: Prof. Yu-Chieh Li (Programme Director or Deputy Programme Director) Members:
  • To approve examination question papers after considering the views and recommendations of the External Academic Adviser
  • Prof. Selina Chui Fun Ho (Head of the Department of Visual Studies)
  • To maintain general supervision of continuous assessment
  • All staff involved with the setting and marking of any part of the examinations Secretary: Mr Chi Long Chan (A member of staff appointed by the Chairperson)
  • To maintain the proper conduct of examinations
  • To determine students’ examination results
  • To consider appeals refereed to it by the Registrar
  • To assess the progress of students and to report its decisions to the PSC
