  • The BA, MPhil and PhD in Visual Studies programmes, focusing on Art History, Film Studies and Philosophical Aesthetics, were launched and primarily housed in the Department of Philosophy.
  • Two faculty members with expertise in Film Studies and the History of Chinese Art were hired to develop the Visual Studies programmes.
