Drama Improvisation Workshop

In this workshop conducted in the Sin Cho Ming Student Function Hall, students explored and learned the elements and techniques of improvisation practiced in theatre and drama. It inspired students’ creativity and strengthened their interpersonal skills.
Fundamentals of Acting
2, 9, 16, 23 & 30 October 2019
The five-session short course introduced students to the fundamental acting skills through various group interactive activities. The programme helped enhance students’ self-confidence and presentation capability.
Kantele & Nordic Music @World Cultures Festival
4 November 2019
In collaboration with the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, the Unit was pleased to bring in the Finland contemporary musical band Okra Playground to host a one-hour interactive Nordic music demonstration in the Art Gallery. The band members shared about how they compose and arrange music. They invited the audience to try playing on the traditional Kantele.
