Admission Requirements

  GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

Applicants holding a Bachelor's degree in engineering, science or other equivalent discipline from a post-secondary institution recognized by the University, or an equivalent qualification, or satisfactory evidence of academic and professional achievement, will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

 ENGLISH LANGUAGE REQUIREMENT

An applicant whose degree or, exceptionally, an alternative qualification deemed equivalent from a tertiary institution is not using English as the medium of instruction (MOI) for the programme should obtain ：

 

  1. A minimum score of 550 (paper-based test) or 79 (Internet-based test) in the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), or  

    2.  

  2. A band score of 6.5 or above in the International English Language Testing System (IELTS), or  
   
An equivalent score in a recognised test, or an equivalent qualification to prove his/her English language proficiency which will be considered on a case-by case basis.
   
   
 

Scholarships

Scholarships might be considered for outstanding students on the basis of academic merit. All students admitted to the programme will automatically be the candidates for the scholarships. No application is require. 

Tuition Fees

The fees for the academic year 2024-25 is listed below:

 Application Fee:  HK$400
 Tuition Fee:  HK$278,000 for both local and non-local students
 Pre-entry Course Fee:  HK$3,000 (subject to adjustment) for EACH pre-entry course

 

  • Notes: 
    1. All fees paid are non-refundable and non-transferable no matter whether the student completes the Programme or not. The full amount is to be paid regardless of the number of courses exempted. 
    2. A deposit of HK$600 (subject to adjustment) is payable by all admitted students. The amount is used to cover the University’s graduation fee (payable upon approval for graduation).
