Jockey Club "We Care, We Serve & We Learn @ Tuen Mun" Programme Launching Ceremony

Lingnan University established the Jockey Club “We Care, We Serve & We Learn @ Tuen Mun” Programme with the generous donation of HK$8 million from The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust. A launching ceremony was held on 20 March 2017 (Monday) at the University’s campus, and was officiated by the presence of Mr Simon Ip, Deputy Chairman of the Council of the University; President Leonard K Cheng; and Ms Winnie Ying, Executive Manager of Charities (Grant Making – Youth, Education & Training, Poverty) of The Hong Kong Jockey Club.

Jockey Club “We Care, We Serve & We Learn @ Tuen Mun” Programme is a 3-year programme supported by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust. It aims to promote the concept of inter-generational collaboration and active aging through working with different stakeholders including government departments, non-governmental organizations, academia and business partners, and to create a cross-sectoral collaborative Service-Learning platform.
