Studying at LU

Sharing by Alex Huang, Year 2, Bachelor of Social Sciences

Alex is a second-year Bachelor of Social Sciences student at Lingnan University in Hong Kong. Alex says he finds living in a hostel on the Lingnan campus rewarding, and it has become his home from home. He organises events as a member of the Student Hostel Association, and says this has helped him realise what he needs to improve to become a better person.   There are 10 hostel blocks on the Lingnan campus, so all the University’s undergraduates can experience a four-year campus residency. Lingnan believes it is important to give each student a chance to experience hostel life, as it helps to develop teamwork and communication skills.
