Lingnan University's BA (Honours) Philosophy Programme

The Honours Degree Programme in Philosophy at Lingnan is designed to provide students with an introduction to contemporary philosophy and to acquaint them with the history of the discipline. This programme places an emphasis on training students to do philosophy, that is, to become skilled at understanding, responding to, and developing philosophical arguments.

The book Inseparable by Professor Huang Yunte nominated for the US National Book Critics Circle Award

Congratulations to Professor Huang Yunte, Tong Tin Sun Chair Professor of English at Lingnan University! His book Inseparable: The Original Siamese Twins and Their Rendezvous with American History has been nominated for the National Book Critics Circle Award, which is one of the most prestigious book awards in the United States. The book has been named one of the Best Books of the Year in 2018 by Newsweek, New York Times, National Public Radio and San Francisco Chronicle. The award will be presented on March 14 at the New School in New York City.
