Lingnanian’s Guangzhou Tour – Where We've Begun!
“Lingnanian’s Guangzhou Tour – Where We've Begun!” organized by Lingnan University Alumni Relations Team and supported by Lingnan University Alumni Association (Hong Kong) was successfully held on March 16 at Lingnan College, Sun Yat-sen University in Guangzhou. Over 100 professors, staff and alumni gathered. This event promoted interactions between alumni from mainland China and from Hong Kong, introduced the history and culture of Lingnan University, and strengthened the linganians' connections and sense of belonging to their alma mater.
After the luncheon, leaders and representatives of Sun Yat-sen University, Lingnan University and Lingnan University Alumni Association (Hong Kong) shared the historical background and recent developments of Lingnan, and their feelings for Lingnan, and exchanged souvenirs. Subsequently, the board leaders of Sun Yat-sen University Lingnan (University) College led the participants on a campus tour. This visit not only showcases the international development of Lingnan University, but also demonstrates the red and grey Lingnan humanistic spirit.
