Naming Ceremony of The Chinese Manufacturers' Association of Hong Kong Integrated IT Study Centre

The Naming Ceremony of “The Chinese Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong Integrated IT Study Centre” was held on 24 November in appreciation of the generosity of The Chinese Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong (“CMA”) in donating HK$4 million to establish the “First Generation University Education Fund”. The Fund will provide financial assistance to students who are the first generation in their family receiving university education but with financial difficulties in joining exchange studies, hostel residence and internship programmes.  

Officiating guests of the ceremony included Dr Eddy S H Li, BBS, JP, President of CMA, Mr Rex Auyeung Pak-kuen, Council Chairman of Lingnan University, and President Leonard K Cheng.

Located on the 4th floor of the Patrick Lee Wan Keung Academic Building, the Chinese Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong Integrated IT Study Centre equips with computers, study rooms and discussion rooms and allows 24-hour access for all students.

Founded in 1934, CMA has over 3,000 member companies and is one of the most representative industrial associations in Hong Kong. CMA is dedicated in promoting Hong Kong's industrial and trade development, and also well known for its continued and extensive community services, especially in education.
