In appreciation of Mr KK Yip in establishing the “Lingnan University Insurance Mentoring & Scholarship Scheme” (the “Scheme”), the “Naming Ceremony of Yip Kwong Kan Lecture Room” was held on 26 November 2021. Officiating guests of the Ceremony included Mr KK Yip and his family members, and Prof Leonard K Cheng, President of Lingnan University.
The Scheme organises a series of courses to allow students to have a better understanding of the operation and recruitment requirements of the insurance industry; offers scholarships to encourage students to take examinations for insurance brokers; and arranges a series of mentorship programmes aiming at nurturing passionate talents in the insurance industry.
