Opening Ceremony of Wong Hoo Chuen Hall and Wu Jieh Yee Hall

The opening ceremony of the Wong Hoo Chuen Hall and Wu Jieh Yee Hall was held on 8 October 2012, officiated by Dr Patrick Wu Po-kong, JP (representative of Wu Jieh Yee Charitable Foundation and Dr Wong Hoo-chuen), The Hon Bernard Charnwut Chan, GBS, JP, Chairman of the University Council, Mr Ben Wong Chung-mat, MH, JP, the then Treasurer of the University Council and President Chan Yuk-Shee. 
 
Mr Bernard Chan expressed his deepest gratitude to Dr Wong Hoo-chuen and Wu Jieh Yee Charitable Foundation for their support over the years. President Chan also thanked for their contributions to Lingnan, which have enabled the University to provide 700 well-equipped and comfortable hostel living places to students.
