Eight scholarships were awarded to support students participating in overseas or mainland exchange programmes for one semester in the academic year 2016/17 and 2017/18 by Chow Tai Fook Charity Foundation. The scheme had enriched students’ academic knowledge, enhanced communication skills and achieved quality whole-person education through the experience of cultural exchange.

A sharing session had been arranged on 25 May 2018, scholarship recipients shared the fruitful exchange experiences, including local cultural studies, global controversial social issues and the experiences on community services with the donor’s representative, Ms Tobey Yung, Project Manager of Chow Tai Fook Charity Foundation. Ms Yung was impressed by the students who had treasured the exchange opportunities and broadened the horizons; at the same time, contributed their efforts and joined social services in local communities.

The Lingnan University - Chow Tai Fook Student Exchange Scholarships were established in 2014 by the generous donation of HK$3 million from Chow Tai Fook Charity Foundation, supporting students good academic performance and dedicated to community services to go on exchange for a semester.
