The 25th Seminar for Senior Administrators from East Guangdong Region

Lingnan University co-organised the 25th Seminar for Senior Administrators from the East Guangdong Region with the Federation of Hong Kong Chiu Chow Community Organizations (the “Federation”) from 8 to 14 October 2023 at Lingnan University. A total of 12 senior administrators from East Guangdong region participated in the Seminar with a theme of “Social Construction and Cultural Conservation”. The Seminar was generously supported by the Federation with the aim to promote and strengthen knowledge exchange between local experts and mainland senior administrators.
 
Various speakers from the fields of social construction and cultural conservation were invited to share their expertise with the senior administrators during the one-week Seminar. The administrators were also brought to different museums, exhibitions and heritage spots for docent services, including the Central Market, Hong Kong Heritage Discovery Centre, Ping Shan Heritage Trail, Sam Tung Uk Museum, Urban Renewal Exploration Centre and the “Wun Yiu” Exhibition. They also had sharing sessions on the campus at M+ and Jao Tsung-I Academy. All the senior administrators had a fruitful week for cultural exchange and knowledge sharing.
