The 26th Seminar for Senior Administrators from East Guangdong Region

Lingnan University co-organised the 26th Seminar for Senior Administrators from the East Guangdong Region with the Federation of Hong Kong Chiu Chow Community Organizations (the “Federation”) from 15 to 21 October 2023 at Lingnan University. A total of 12 senior administrators from East Guangdong region participated in the Seminar with a theme of “Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Talent Development”. The Seminar was generously supported by the Federation with the aim to promote and strengthen knowledge exchange between local experts and mainland senior administrators.
 
Various speakers were invited to share their expertise on innovation, entrepreneurship and talent development, including Professor Albert Ko, Professor Eric Lam and Dr Chloe Siu of Lingnan University. Some entrepreneurs were also invited to share their stories of entrepreneurship at the seminar. Moreover, the administrators were brought to different organizations that are related to innovation and start-up incubation, including the Cyberport, HKSTP Experience Centre, Hong Kong Productivity Council, and the Hong Kong Design Centre DIP Wong Chuk Hang Centre. They also had sharing sessions on the Lingnan@WestKowloon campus at M+. All the senior administrators had a fruitful week in Hong Kong and they agreed that the programme effectively promoted cultural exchange.
