Tin Ka Ping Mainland Scholars and Senior Administrators Exchange Programme 2017

“Tin Ka Ping Mainland Scholars and Senior Administrators Exchange Programme 2017” was held from 12 to 16 November 2017. Mr Tin Hing Sin, Chairman of Tin Ka Ping Foundation, and Prof Leonard K Cheng, President of Lingnan University officiated at the kick-off ceremony on 13 November.

A total of 22 participants, including presidents, vice-presidents and senior administrators from 18 universities participated in the programme. Lingnan University’s scholars and senior administrators introduced Lingnan’s mission, distinguishing features and practice of liberal arts education in respect of curriculum, student development programmes, as well as related supporting services and facilities. Also, lesson observation, student sharing and hostel visit were arranged to showcase the characteristics of Lingnan University’s education.

Participating universities included Communication University of China, Nanjing, Wenhua College, Yuanpei College of Peking University, Gengdan Institute of Beijing University of Technology, Duke Kunshan University, Northeast Normal University, Southern Medical University, Zhejiang University, Hainan University, Tsinghua University, East China Normal University, South China University of Technology, South China Agricultural University, Heihe University, Guangxi Normal University, Guangdong University of Technology, Guangdong University of Foreign Studies and University of Jinan.
