Bug Wars against Food Waste: Sustainable Organic Food Waste Management (Family-friendly!) (Quota is FULL!)
Organised by the Science Unit of Lingnan University, the “Bug Wars against Food Waste” workshop will introduce the development and operation of a green initiative, Black Soldier Fly (BSF) project. Through hands-on experiences including observation and feeding, participants will learn about how BSF effectively consume food waste and bring positive impact to Lingnan’s campus and our ecosystem by converting food waste into quality feed for animals and organic fertilizer for plants. This workshop provides a platform to understand sustainable development and learn about environmental conservation issues.
*Each participant will receive a certificate from the Science Unit of Lingnan University upon completion of the workshop.
