Daniel obtained his MA in English Studies for the Professions, majoring in English Language Teaching, at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2023. He also completed his DELTA (Cambridge Diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) in 2025. With experience in teaching students ranging from young learners to adults, Daniel has been teaching English for Academic, Vocational, and General Purposes at various post-secondary institutions for over four years.

Currently, Daniel is pursuing his Doctor of Education (EdD) at The University of Hong Kong, specialising in the field of Language and Literacy Education (English Language Education).

At CEAL, he teaches University English I, IELTS Preparation, PLATFORMx – A 21st Century Medium of Communication, and Professional Communication in English for Social Sciences. He is also a coordinator of ELSS.
