The China Economic Research Programme of Lingnan University, together with the Global Affairs Office of The Education University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Higher Education Convergence, Hong Kong Youth Association co-organised the Kick-off Ceremony of "Linking You to Innovation - Entrepreneurial Training and Internship Programme 2024-Shenzhen"

The Kick-off Ceremony of the "Linking You to Innovation - Entrepreneurial Training and Internship Programme2024-Shenzhen" was successfully held on May 28, 2024. The programme was jointly organised by the China Economic Research Programme (CERP) and Office of Student Affairs of Lingnan University, the Global Affairs Office of The Education University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Higher Education Convergence, and the Hong Kong Youth Association. Around fifty Hong Kong youth will participate in a five-week internship programme in Shenzhen from June 14 to July 20 this summer.

Professor HO Lok-sang, the Director of CERP at Lingnan University, said in his speech, emphasized the university's commitment to nurturing talents and serving society. He encouraged students to actively participate in various social services, overseas exchanges, and internships to broaden their horizons and enhance their skills.

Professor LI Dong-hui, the Associate Vice-President (Student Affairs) of Lingnan University, expressed her hope that participating students would build good relationships and friendships with colleagues and employers. She emphasized the importance of developing comprehensive skills that are essential for future societal and career needs.

The ceremony also featured a lecture on "One Country, Two Systems," the Basic Law, and the Hong Kong National Security Law by Mr. CHAN Chi Bun, the external expert of the Bauhinia Institute, providing a comprehensive conclusion to the event.
