Economics Entrance Scholarships for Non-Local Students (from AY2026-27 Entry)

The introduction of a prestigious full scholarship programme aims to attract outstanding non-local students to our Economics programme. This scholarship would provide support, including full tuition, hostel accommodation, and partial coverage of academic and living expenses. Eligible candidates would be non-local students who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership potential, and a commitment to enriching campus diversity. Through this initiative, we hope to foster a vibrant and inclusive global community, enhancing both the academic environment and Lingnan University's international reputation.

Eligibility and Criteria:

1. Non-local applicants who applied for the University's UGC-funded first-year Economics programme will be considered to compete for this Full Scholarship.
2. Each awarded scholarship is renewable and tenable for a period of up to the normative duration of study, subject to the annual review of academic performance and other renewable criteria as stipulated in the terms and conditions of the scholarship

No. of Awards: Up to 2 students

Amount: Each for up to HK$205,000 for AY2026-27 intake per academic year (covering tuition fees, hostel fees, and partial academic and living expenses). The full scholarship is renewable annually on the condition that the scholarship recipient attains a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above by the end of the preceding academic year (and in the first term of the final year).
