Admission & Application

Application Method

1.  Application Period

The application period for applying for DBS 2027-2028 starts in August and ends on June 30, 2027.
Admissions will be closed once the quota is reached.

 

 

 

2.  Application Fee 

A non-refundable and non-transferable application fee of HK$600 is charged for each application.

 

 

 3.  Application Procedure 

To apply for the Doctor of Business Studies programme, please follow the steps below:

  1. Create an account in the Online Application System 
  2. Complete the online application form.
  3. Upload scanned copies of the following documents to the system:
    • Research Interest (400-500 in English）
    • Passport, or any other identity document(s) of your home country;
    • Academic certificates and transcripts;
    • Proof of English language proficiency (IELTS, TOEFL);
    • Personal Statement; and
    • Other relevant materials.
  4. Settle the application fee (HK$600) by a credit card. Application fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
  5. Invite two referees to complete two recommendation forms or write two recommendation letters and send the originals of completed recommendation forms/letters in a sealed envelope to Programme Team.

 

 4. Selection

All applicants for admission to the programme will be considered on the basis of academic and professional qualifications, work experience, suitability, and potential. Applicants will be required to attend an interview (via online) conducted by the Programme Director of Doctor of Business Studies Programmes  and one more faculty member.

 

Applications are processed on a rolling basis until all places are filled. Early applications are strongly encouraged.
