In an effort to keep students abreast of the latest industry trends, the Taught Postgraduate Programmes Office of the Faculty of Business (TPO) has successfully organized the second " Executive Speakers Forum" for the 2023-24 academic year on March 19, 2024.

We were honoured to have invited Dr. Kevin Chan, Founder of Design Information Centre and Smartwill Education Centre, Chairman & Executive Director of Lai Group Holding Company Limited, Chairman & Founder of Hong Kong Famous Designers Association, to share his insights on “Implementation of ESG of SME” with our Taught Postgraduate Programmes students.

During the public lecture, Dr. Chan delivered an insightful presentation, acquainting the students with the essential definitions and key elements of implementing ESG practices. He further drew upon his personal experiences to provide a more accessible and comprehensible understanding of the ESG concept. His sharing resonated with our students, enabling them to grasp the essence of ESG more effectively.

The event received an enthusiastic response from the students, reflecting their strong interest in and aspirations for careers in the ESG field. Dr. Chen patiently addressed each question, emphasizing the importance of diverse skill sets and practical experience in the ESG field. He further encouraged students to actively engage in ESG projects to cultivate their practical abilities, and to stay informed about industry trends and developments. The public lecture not only provided valuable knowledge to the students but also served as a source of affirmation and encouragement for their future endeavors.

The Taught Postgraduate Programmes Office (TPO) of the Faculty of Business is organizing several executive speakers on a range of current topics and stories of successful entrepreneurs to broaden your perspectives.
