The Taught Postgraduate Programmes Office of the Faculty of Business decided to extend the application deadline for some of our Taught Postgraduate Programmes.

Please seize the last opportunity to submit your application as soon as possible.

Admission Requirements

1. General Qualifications

An applicant should hold a Bachelor’s degree awarded by a recognized tertiary institution or have equivalent qualifications, which will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

2. Language Requirements

An applicant whose degree is not from a tertiary institution in Hong Kong or an English-speaking country should obtain:

o   a band score of 6.5 or above in the International English Language Testing System (IELTS).

o   a minimum score of 550 (paper-based test) or 79 (internet-based test) in the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), or

Applicants who do not fulfil the above language requirements but have an equivalent score in a recognized test, or an equivalent qualification assessment to prove their language proficiency may be considered on a case-by-case basis.


Admission Requirements for Master of Science in Arts Technology and Business (MScATB) and Master of Science in Business Innovation and Entrepreneurship (MScBIE)

1. General Qualifications

An applicant should hold a Bachelor’s degree awarded by a recognized tertiary institution or have equivalent qualifications, which will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

2. Language Requirements

An applicant whose degree is not from a tertiary institution in Hong Kong or an English-speaking country should obtain:

o   a band score of 5.5 or above in the International English Language Testing System (IELTS).

o   a minimum score of 453 (paper-based test) or 46 (internet-based test) in the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), or

o   Applicants who do not fulfil the above language requirements but have an equivalent score in a recognized test, or an equivalent qualification assessment to prove their language proficiency may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

o   Upon admission, students are required to complete English courses and activities offered by the University, in order to meet graduation requirements and improve their English ability and expand their international perspective.
