I am pleased to inform members of the University community that our Group Medical Insurance underwriter, Assicurazioni Generali S.p.A. (“Generali”), has upgraded their services as follows:

  • The limit for making a e-claim has been increased to HK$8,000;
  • The clinic network has expanded.

At Generali, we strive to enhance our services and offerings in our ambition to become your Lifetime Partner. We are glad to announce two upgraded services for our Group Medical members.

 

Requirement for Original Receipts has been Enhanced

  • From 1 October 2023* onwards, members can simply submit an e-Claim** if the medical receipt amount is HK$8,000 or below.
  • For a medical receipt exceeds HK$8,000, members can submit an e-Claim first, then mail the original receipts to Generali to process the claims.

 
Tips: For easy status tracking, members can always submit claims with any receipt amount through Generali mobile app or online platform.
 


Network Doctors has Extended to 4,000+ Clinics Across Hong Kong
 

  • Our extensive clinic network has expanded by 38%. All types of specialties have increased, including Chinese Medical Practitioners, Physiotherapists, Specialists, General Practitioners.
  • With the rising popularity of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the number of Chinese Medical Practitioners available for selection now is about 5 times what it was before the extension.
 
Tips: Members can easily search the latest network doctors through Generali mobile app or online platform anytime anywhere.

** Members are required to keep the original receipt(s) and supporting document(s) for 90 days from the issue date of Claim Settlement Notice. Generali may request the original receipt(s) on random basis for audit purpose.

  • 由2023年10月1日*起,如醫療收據金額為港幣8,000元或以下,成員只需透過電子方式提交的索償申請**。
  • 如醫療收據金額為港幣8,000元以上,成員可先提交電子索償申請,再郵遞收據正本至忠意保險以處理索償個案。

 
輕鬆索償小貼士:為方便追蹤索償進度,不論任何金額的索償,成員可先透過忠意保險應用程式或網上平台提交申請。
 


網絡醫生擴展至4,000+ 間診所  遍佈全港

  • 我們的診所網絡已擴大38%。各醫療類別,包括中醫、物理治療師、專科醫生及普通科醫生均有增加,為成員提供更多選擇。
  • 網絡中醫數量比擴展前增加約5倍,迎合成員對中醫的需求。
 
搜尋醫生無難度:成員透過忠意保險應用程式或網上平台可以隨時搜尋就近診所,方便預約。
