Textbook Arrangement for the Second Term of the Academic Year 2023/24

Please be informed that staff members who would like to facilitate his/her students to order textbooks for the Second Term course enrolment can liaise with the following book shops with details set out below: 
  

The Academic and Professional Book Centre (A&P)

Teachers can fill in the attached "A&P Textbook Adoption Form" and send the completed form to A&P on or before 15 December 2023 (Attachment 1 refers).  After receiving the forms, A&P will create a book purchase link online at http://www.apbookshop.com and notify the teachers accordingly.  The teachers can then send the information to the students once they have enrolled in the course.  Students who decide to order textbooks can do so online at their earliest convenience.  A&P will offer bulk purchase discount to students.  Besides, students can choose for free delivery either to the campus or to their homes.  For textbooks that are required urgently but are out of stock in A&P’s warehouse, there will be an option of placing orders by courier at an additional price.

SUP Retail (Hong Kong) Ltd (SUP Retail)

Teachers can obtain quotation in advance by filling in the attached “SUP Invitation for Quotation Form” and send the completed form to SUP Retail at their earliest convenience, but preferably no later than 15 December 2023 (Attachment 2 refers).  SUP Retail will provide quotations to the teachers based on the information shown on the form within a week. 
  
The teachers can then send the information to the students for information once they have enrolled in the course.  Students who decide to order textbooks can send their credit card details together with the details of books they want to order (including Course Code; Student name; book title; ISBN, publisher and their teachers name) by email ([email protected]) to the City University branch of the Commercial bookstore.  For students not having credit card, they can send the details of books they want (including Course Code; Student name; book title; ISBN, publisher and their teachers name) and inquire about the payment method other than credit card by email  ([email protected])to the City University branch of the Commercial Press bookstore.  Subject to stock availability, the textbooks will normally be delivered to Hong Kong and be ready for the students’ pick up in about three to four weeks’ time.
