Graduation Requirements

For the 2025–26 intake and earlier, for graduation, a student is required to complete 8 courses amounting to 24 credits (4 required courses and 4 elective courses) and achieve a minimum cumulative G.P.A. of 2.67. 

For the 2026–27 intake and thereafter, for graduation, a student is required to complete 9 courses amounting to 30 credits (5 required courses,  3 elective courses and a Capstone Project) and achieve a minimum cumulative G.P.A. of 2.67. 

If a student was admitted to the Programme with an English test score just below the minimum, the student is required to fulfil an exit requirement on English language competency before graduation.

A student who has fulfilled all the requirements for graduation will be awarded Award of Master of Arts in International Affairs with one of the following classifications. 

These classifications are given according to the student's cumulative G.P.A. on all courses.
