Dr. LIU Sheng Marketing The Hong Kong Polytechnic University Graduate of 2024 PhD (Marketing) | My time at Lingnan is a joyful and fulfilling journey. Joining Lingnan for my PhD study is the greatest fortune and wisest choice of my life. I want to express my sincere gratitude to my supervisors: Victor, Prof. Chow, and Prof. Leng, from whom I received invaluable hands-on guidance in research. Thanks to their selfless help, my working paper has been published in several top journals. Our best administrative sisters such as Linda and Christie, will provide comprehensive support to both my study and life, making me feel like part of a family. The unwavering dedication of our leaders, Dean Prof. Leng and department head Prof. Peng, has created a harmonious atmosphere where teachers and students collaborate seamlessly. The university, faculty, and department all offer ample funding for students to participate in various academic activities. I had the opportunity to participate in and present at the ISMS Marketing Science Conference in the U.S. and Australia. Regular lunch seminars with external researchers will also be conducted to broaden our academic horizon. At Lingnan, I have learned not only to be a qualified researcher but also to care for others and collaborate with my team to establish our community. The memories here will always be etched in my heart, and I will always be grateful for the kindness of the lovely people here. Whenever needed, I will spare no effort to help my alma mater.
